In March 2025, a friend strong-armed Gursimran into making a Jeevansathi account. He was certain nothing would come of it. Ashrita was his very first match, and the first person he ever spoke to on it. What followed was months of texting before they ever heard each other's voices: they met in person before their first phone call, which finally happened on her birthday and lasted all of five minutes. Somewhere between the banter and the long threads, it stopped being a maybe. Now neither of us can imagine the rest of it with anyone else.
Matched on Jeevansathi. First match, first conversation, and the bet against the app was already lost.
